I just want to highlight how important this #whistleblower report is. What this is reporting is real time infiltration of American citizen private data by #Russian #hackers because DOGE was giving them account info and passwords and the only thing stopping them was the #infosec rule forbidding out-of-country IP addresses.

#DOGE is either an active enemy of the United States or....yeah, I got nothing else. They are clearly enemy actors. Why is this not on every news channel right now? Why are marshals not frog-marching these little incels to their own cells?

& data has nothing to do w/making the govt more efficient or cutting spending.

Meanwhile, acc/to the disclosure & records of internal comms, members of the #DOGE team asked that their activities not be logged on the system & then appeared to try to cover their tracks behind them, turning off monitoring tools & manually deleting records of their access—evasive behavior several #cybersecurity experts compared to what #criminal or #StateSponsored #hackers might do.

The Chaos Computer Club, Europe‘s largest community of #hackers, has released a declaration on what is incompatible with the club’s values: “Those who aim to destroy coexistence in society and work toward an alternative society with principles based on chauvinism and nationalism are working against the moral principles that unite us as a club.
